Was tagged by ~pinkfiregurl quite awhile ago, and I promised her I'll do this tagged. (Even though I've done this multiple times already!)

I guess for this 2nd/3rd (I've lost count really) edition of "10 things about me" I will write (ramble) about things that are related to my art in my gallery


1. I like to say I'm a very random person with lots of interests. Even though my favorite types of art is illustration, digital painting(photoshop) and graphic design, I like to try different type of mediums of art and styles. Photography, crafts, sewing, painting, ceramics.

2. My main influence in art came from my older brother. I learned basics of drawing cartoons and comics from him. I swear I don't think I would the person I am today if wasn't for him. I will forever be great-full to him.

3.Been a cartoon junkie since I came out the womb. Guess I inherited that from my both of my parents since they've always enjoyed watching toons. (My entire family are cartoon-heads) I've spent many hours my childhood watching cartoons (the rest was spent around outside glued to my bike or in front of my Sega Genesis ) Would really like to go into traditional animation but I haven't taken any real courses for it. I love anime, most cartoons from the 80's and 90's, Disney and LooneyToons (most warner bros. stuff)

4. Speaking of Sega Genesis, I was once a super died-hard Sonic fan at one time. As a kid all I drew was Sonic art.*insane* When I think about now I almost find it's quite embarrassing! (I'm still a Sonic fan but not like how I used to be) I didn't even know I was an "anthro" artist until I signed up here on DA. I was calling my characters "animal-people"! lol! Geez how dumb was I? Any way, I've always loved animals so that's all I pretty much drew. Why? I really sucked at drawing people. That change after taking Life Drawing and I started looking at anatomy books. So not only did I attain a better understanding of drawing people better, I learn could also apply those same techniques to my anthro characters as well.

5. Always loved looking at comics of all kind. Calvin & Hobbs, Garfield, Peanuts, Sonic the comic series, Batman, Ironman, Spiderman, various mangas. I tend to not keep up with story lines though. And I'm guilty of picking up books simply because "it look cool". One thing I remember, I use to drive my brother nuts when I was little. (Hey thats what lil' sisters are born to do! ) Instead of me taking one comic out at a time to read it, I would take out all his comics and dump them on the floor making huge pile of a mess. Good times.

6. Judging from my recent Transformers art it appears I've only start drawing Transformers art after latest movie came out last summer. Truth be told I've been a Transformers fan (or better words fangirl/fantard) for quite some time; since I was 6 yrs-old). The now defunct Dreamwave Comics introduced me to the TF comic world, and I've been collecting a few IDW books since the end of last year.

7. As you can tell from my comics I kinda have a slightly "off" sarcastic, silly, sense of humor, which tends throws people because I'm so freaking quiet in person. (I'm a thinker more than a speaker) I've always have had a crazy imagination. I think I got the "There's a circus in my head" syndrome!

8. I enjoy taking photos. Strange enough I absolutely hate photos of my self. >_< (It's extremely rare that I take a picture) I find that i enjoy photography more as a hobby, then going professional. Of course that may change in the future...

9. Animals and nature were always a huge source of influence in my art.

10. Even though I find that hand sewing can very relaxing, it can be murder to my fingers. I need to invest in some thimbles asap. O_o I seriously need to get over my fear of sewing machine.
